M. Kevin Hausfeld was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Mr. Hausfeld obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Hausfeld attended law school at the University of Florida where he was awarded the Junior-Crandall Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Hausfeld graduated from the University of Florida College of Law with honors.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Hausfeld joined the firm Bozeman, Jenkins & Matthews, P.A. as an associate attorney specializing in insurance defense with large corporate clients. While at Bozeman, Jenkins & Matthews, Mr. Hausfeld had the pleasure of representing clients in a lawsuit against a large baby crib manufacturer where he was able to help his clients reach a multi-million dollar settlement. It was at this time that Mr. Hausfeld realized that he wanted to focus his legal career on protecting the rights of injured people. To that end, Mr. Hausfeld accepted an invitation to join Michles & Booth, P.A., a large personal injury firm in Pensacola, Florida, where Mr. Hausfeld was able to secure millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients
