A fierce and dogged advocate for the downtrodden and victims of wrongdoing, San Antonio lawyer Virgil Yanta Jr. has focused his practice on representing clients throughout the Lone Star State who face complex and often unique challenges in the areas of eminent domain, condemnation, and water rights litigation; business and trade secrets litigation; personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability litigation; and estates, probate, and fiduciary law.

During the time he was still earning his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, Virgil earned his State Bar Trial Card to practice in court under a Supervising Attorney. He was granted valuable internships at the Center for Legal and Social Justice in both its Immigration Clinic and its Civil Justice Clinic. Throughout his time with the clinics, Virgil worked on South Texas immigration matters involving the Violence Against Women Act, and handled real estate litigation and family law cases for disadvantaged clients in San Antonio.
