JR Emerson founded the law firm in 2012. His partner and Wife, Jill Bracken-Emerson, joined in 2014. Their practice concentrates on personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, brain injuries, burn injuries, spinal cord injuries, dog bites, slips and falls, and premises liability. We do not just fight big insurance companies; we also use our litigation skills to represent clients in high-asset and high-conflict divorce matters. While serving clients throughout central Indiana, their practice generally serves the Indianapolis metropolitan area.
JR attended Indiana University in Bloomington and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business in 1992. He received his Juris Doctor in 2012 from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Admitted to practice in Indiana since 2012, JR has over a decade of experience advocating for the rights and entitlements of his clients. He has received many testimonials and referrals from his satisfied clients. Prior to starting his own firm, he played music in a band, was twice elected as the Judge of the Whitestown Town Court and worked in computer networking.
