Greg Woods is the firm’s senior trial attorney and located in the Vanderbilt Galleria Office. Greg moved to Southwest Florida in 2000 after practicing law for 14 years with a major law firm in Dallas, Texas. He is board-certified in business litigation and civil trial by the Florida Bar, AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell, he is listed as a Florida Super Lawyer, a Top Florida Lawyer by Tampa Magazine, and a Top Lawyer in Southwest Florida by Gulfshore Life Magazine, and a Who’s Who by Gulfshore Life Magazine. Following law school, Greg served as a briefing attorney to Justice Raul Gonzalez of the Texas Supreme Court.
Greg has extensive trial and appellate experience in a variety of complex business matters and handles cases involving intellectual property, including patent infringement, securities, banking, construction, real estate disputes, corporate control disputes, unfair competition claims, and golf club and condominium turnover disputes. He frequently represents companies in injunctive proceedings involving usurpation of corporate opportunities, theft of trade secrets, deceptive trade practices and receivership. In addition, he is a Florida Supreme Court certified civil mediator.
