Attorney Jason J. Joy is a third generation trial attorney. Born and raised in rural south Louisiana, Mr. Joy enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating from college and served his country on active duty as a special operations soldier in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. Mr. Joy volunteered for and successfully graduated from the most difficult and grueling courses in the United States military and in October of 2001, Jason was among the small handful of soldiers to earn the coveted Ranger tab. After serving with distinction, Mr. Joy was Honorably Discharged from active duty and attended law school on the G.I. Bill and an academic scholarship. Mr. Joy graduated from Loyola Law School and also attended Fordham Law School in Manhattan as a visiting student during his final year.
During law school, Mr. Joy worked for a prestigious plaintiff’s firm in Houston where he played a significant role in one of the largest commercial cases in the country. The case ultimately splintered into a highly complex insurance coverage dispute.
