Mr. Schatten knew at an early age that he wanted to be in the arena and be a trial lawyer. His father was a leading trial lawyer and federal prosecutor in the New York City, U.S. Attorney’s Office. During college, Mr. Schatten excelled in oral advocacy winning top debate awards and championships. At the University of Rochester, Mr. Schatten graduated near the top of his class, Phi Beta Kappa. He was awarded the Floyd Griswold Memorial Prize in Economics. Mr. Schatten then went on one of the nation’s top law schools, Vanderbilt University School of Law, in Nashville, Tennessee.
After graduating law school, Mr. Schatten worked at top law firms honing his skills as a litigator. Due to his work in and out of the Courtroom, Mr. Schatten earned top legal awards and honors including being named in the top 1% of litigators. Mr. Schatten’s cases and clients have been featured on local and national news media.
