MARC WIETZKE, a successful trial litigator has taken verdicts against LIRR, New Jersey Transit, UPRR, Springfield Terminal, MTA, Metro-North, CSX, PATH and the NYCTA. His recoveries include a $3.75 million verdict for a PATH track worker, a $3.2 million verdict for a LIRR signalman, a $2.2 million settlement against MNRR for a carman, $2.2 million gross verdict against the LIRR; a $1.625 million settlement against New Jersey Transit for the wrongful death of a welder; a confidential settlement of $1.6 million on behalf of a signalman against a Northeast railroad, a $1.5 million verdict against PATH for FRSA whistleblower violations, the highest under the statute in the country, ever, and, $900,000 plus retiree benefits against NJ Transit. Marc also assisted Michael Flynn in recovering $5.5 million on behalf of two truck drivers on an Amtrak construction project.
