Morris Bart grew up in the New Orleans area, graduated from UNO in 1975 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 1978. Law school honors include: President of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity; Blue Key National Honor Society; and the Am Jur award for academic excellence. He was inducted into the Louisiana Bar in 1978 and is currently a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Mississippi Association for Justice, American Association for Justice and has served on the Board of Governors of the Louisiana Association for Justice. Mr. Bart has lectured extensively in the area of legal marketing at Tulane University, Loyola Law School and UNO.
In 1980, Mr. Bart pioneered legal services marketing in Louisiana when he became the first attorney in the state to advertise his services as a personal injury attorney on television. At the time, he was a sole practitioner with one shared secretary.
