Nancy E. Gianakos

Ms. Gianakos has practiced exclusively in matrimonial and family law for the past 25 year representing high profile, business and professionals in domestic relations matters in the greater New York metropolitan areas. She is an AV Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and named a New York Super Lawyer each year since 2013 and is one of the first recipients of the Hon.Gail A. Prudente Outstanding Women in the Law Award (2016). She is admitted to practice in state courts in CT(1981), NJ(1992)and NY(1993); US District Courts of CT(1982), NJ (1992) and NY (1999) and the U.S. Supreme Court (1999). She is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations for whom she served on the Board of Directors (2011-2014) and currently is a member of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committees and Advisory Board of the Academy of Law. Ms. Gianakos earned a B.A. from the University of Hartford in 1978 and received her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law in 1981.
