Paul Matiasic

Paul A. Matiasic is a trial attorney focused on representing clients in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout the state of California. Paul completed his undergraduate education at Santa Clara University and later attended Pepperdine University School of Law. During his time at Pepperdine, Paul was included on the Dean’s List for his academic excellence, served as student body President, was a student mentor, and worked as a volunteer at the Union Rescue Mission Legal Clinic in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles. He also ranked at the top of his class as a student at Oxford University, where he studied International and European Union law.

For several years after graduating from law school, Paul practiced at a large, nationwide firm primarily focused on the areas of sexual abuse, products liability, and motor vehicle negligence.

In 2007, he founded The Matiasic Firm, dedicating his practice to those injured due to the negligence of others. Since opening the firm, Paul has scored multiple six- and seven-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of numerous injured clients, handling various types of sexual abuse, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle, and medical malpractice cases.

His successes include procuring a landmark victory in an amputation case on the Central Coast, resulting in a multi-million-dollar settlement on behalf of his clients on the eve of trial. He would later serve as trial counsel in a dangerous condition of public property case and help secure the largest wrongful death jury verdict in Madera County’s history. The trial lasted five weeks and was defended by some of Caltrans’ most aggressive and senior trial lawyers.
