Richard C. Watters was born and raised in Fresno, California. He was admitted to the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California in 1974. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; the U.S. Supreme Court; and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Mr. Watters received his B.S. Degree, cum laude, and M.B.A. Degree from California State University, Fresno, and his J.D. Degree from the University of Santa Clara. Mr. Watters is a member of the Fresno County and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of California, American Association for Justice, American Board of Trial Advocates (Advocate; Cal-ABOTA Co-Trial Lawyer of the Year 2006), National Board of Trial Advocacy (Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate), International Society of Barristers (Fellow), Litigation Counsel of America (Fellow), American College of Trial Lawyers (Fellow), International Academy of Trial Lawyers (Fellow), and the American Bar Foundation (Life Patrol Fellow). He has completed over 92 civil jury trials to verdict in State and Federal Court, including 14 significant jury verdicts since 2000.
