With more than 30 years of extensive trial experience handling all types of personal injury cases, Roy K.S. Born and raised in Honolulu, Roy graduated cum laude from Iolani School in 1968. He attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., graduating “with distinction” in 1972, and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He went on to receive his Masters in Education from The George Washington University in 1974. While completing his masters, he also attended The Washington College of Law of the American University, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1975.
Roy returned to Hawaii in 1976 and began his practice of law at the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office of the City and County of Honolulu. He so distinguished himself as a trial attorney that he was asked to start and head the Career Criminal Unit for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office of the County of Kauai.
