Gee Law Firm, based in Lafayette, LA, is a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm founded in 1991, which provides legal services to injured maritime workers (offshore and inland), truck/car crash victims, and those hurt by dangerous products.
Gee is a loyal Louisiana resident, having lived in Lafayette since 1984. For 10 years as a youth, Gee raced sailboats in the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean and large lakes. Gee is also a certified scuba diver. Sailing and scuba have given Gee a passion for maritime and admiralty law. Gee has also worked offshore performing heavy manual labor. To prepare for trial, Gee has visited and photographed numerous maritime worksites, in the Gulf of Mexico and inland waters—to physically inspect accident/injury scenes on vessels, drilling rigs, and production platforms. While growing up Gee had a passion for sports cars, which led him to racing both open and closed wheeled cars on tracks throughout the South. Gee has also operated an 18-wheeler. This vehicular experience, along with completing several racing schools, has given Gee a true feel for truck and car wrecks. There are always a lot of physical dynamics in every truck and car crash—that can best be understood by a trained driver.
While in high school Gee decided he wanted to get a top-notch education. This led Gee to Emory University, a superior academic institution in Atlanta, Georgia. Gee obtained his undergraduate degree from Emory in economics and philosophy. Then Gee completed his studies at the well respected Tulane Law School, where Gee studied with national and international students, and excelled in his maritime and admiralty classes.
